To support the Prince's Rebuilding Communities Building Crafts Training Program, a program aimed at training local workers and students in the building-crafts skills necessary for sustainable historic restorations of Katrina-damaged homes.
To support High School to Art School Program, a free, afterschool visual arts training, portfolio development, and college mentoring program that serves underserved teens in New York City, 80 percent (or more) of whom reside in Queens.
To support the Queens Museum of Art's Corona Studio, a residency program that weaves social justice issues and inter-community communication into multifaceted art practices. This will also support QMA's significant community engagement work and ambition to better link artists and organizers.
