Julia TockarOffice Administrator – Started March 2016

Julia Tockar serves as the Office Administrator at the Surdna Foundation where she is responsible for overseeing the reception area, office and supply management and facilities management to ensure efficient office operations. Julia is the liaison between staff, guests, and callers and plays an integral role in maintaining the Foundation’s professional image. Additionally, she provides administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and Administration and assists the Human Resources and Administrative Manager with employee events.

Prior to joining Surdna, Julia worked at Unipart Services America, a logistics company, for 13 years and gained experience in people engagement, problem-solving techniques, organizational and time management skills.

As a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility, she has implemented cost reductions techniques and corporate recycling programs. She has engaged employees in charity fundraisers and events, with proceeds donated to various nonprofit organizations. Julia has also served on two committees for the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey with a focus on raising funds to help those in need.
