Traci FreemanSenior Program Associate, Programs and Strategic Initiatives – With Surdna since September 2015

Traci Freeman is the Senior Program Associate for Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the Surdna Foundation. Prior to joining Surdna, Traci worked as Program Officer at NYC Global Partners where she managed Global Partners Junior, an internet exchange program for middle school students. She previously worked as the Enrollment Manager at Success Charter Network, a not-for-profit Charter Management Organization (CMO) that operates charter schools throughout New York City. Before moving to New York, Traci worked in Washington, DC as the Senior Associate of Corporate and Foundation Relations with the United Nations Foundation. Her other experience includes running a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program for Girls Incorporated of Memphis and working to strengthen and reform Memphis’ public education system at the Hyde Family Foundations in Memphis, TN.

Traci received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis and Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. She is also a certified Bikram yoga instructor.
